President Bola Tinubu has extended his heartfelt condolences to the Governor of Kogi state, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, on the demise of his father.
The Governor’s father, Alhaji Ahmed Momohsani Ododo, died on Monday at the age of 83 years.
The President, in a statement issued by his spokesperson, Mr Bayo Onanuga, urged Governor Ododo, his family, and the entire Ododo clan to take solace in their patriarch’s life of service to God and the moral and religious values that guided him.
President Tinubu described the deceased as a respected community leader whose legacy is evident in the accomplishments of the children he nurtured.
He extended prayers to the Ododo family, their loved ones and the people of Kogi State.
The President said his thoughts and prayers are with the Ododo family, friends, and the people of Kogi State as they mourn the deceased.
