Over 500 People Benefits From DAM Empowerment Programme in Kogi Central

Over 500 youth and women in Kogi central senatorial district have benefitted from DAM empowerment programme held in Okene , Kogi State.

The empowernment which recorded a remarkable success have distinguished guests, including the Paramount Ruler , the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland His Royal Majesty Dr. Tijani Muhammed Anaje, Dr. Abdullahi Mustapha, and other esteemed personalities from both the state and federal governments.

Speaking at the event the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland charged the beneficiaries to take the advantage of the empowernment to better their lives.

The Royal Father thank the Director General, Energy Commission of Nigeria, Dr. Abdullahi Mustapha for his kind gesture and urged other well to do sons and daughters of the land to invest in human capital development.

The highlight of the event was the certificate presentation to youths trained in various professional fields while thousands of exercise books were distributed to students to support their studies.

Additionally, hundreds of empowerment tools such as POS machines, welding materials, carpentry materials, umbrellas for market women, and overalls for mechanics were also dole out to beneficiaries to enhance their livelihood.
