Education is the bed rock to any developing society especially to the younger generation and, that’s why this significant stride toward educational advancement and accessibility in Kogi State by the Chief Servant of the State is timely and deserves commendation..
Under the new directive, pupils and students in all public primary and secondary schools will no longer pay any form of school or tuition fees.
Furthermore, the state government will bear the full cost of all internal and external examinations — including Basic 6, Common Entrance, BECE, WAEC, JAMB, and NABTEB — thereby guaranteeing equal access to quality education for every child, irrespective of background or economic status.
He reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to human capital development, stressing that no child in Kogi State should be denied the right to learn due to financial constraints. This initiative is expected to significantly boost school enrollment, improve retention rates, and empower a new generation of enlightened and responsible citizens.
This Primary Initiative is another confirmation of the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s agenda to develop young people of the State and reduce the financial burden of the families in Kogi State.
