Governor Ododo also gave special praise to Coach Rena Wakama and her technical team for steering the squad to yet another historic triumph. He commended her for setting a remarkable precedent as the first woman to win multiple Afrobasket championships, describing her leadership as a shining example of the rising influence of women in Nigerian sports.
