FAIWO Partners with Make Mee Elegant Foundation to Launch Widows Empowerment Program in Commemoration of the Golden Jubilee of the White Lion
The Folashade Ayoade Initiative for Widows & Orphans (FAIWO), in collaboration with the Make Mee Elegant Foundation (MMEF), is proud to announce the upcoming Widows Empowerment Program, a life-changing event dedicated to uplifting widows through sustainable empowerment.
The program, themed to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of the White Lion, is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 9th July 2025, at 10:00 AM, at the Residence of the Secretary to the Government of Kogi State, GRA Lokoja.
This impactful initiative will feature:
Skill Acquisition Training
Distribution of Food Items
Other Empowerment Trainings
These activities are strategically designed to equip widows with the tools, resources, and support they need to become self-reliant and economically empowered.
The Widows Empowerment Program underscores the shared mission of both organizations to promote social inclusion, gender equity, and sustainable community development, especially for vulnerable women.
